LifeWell BD is a retail and e-commerce company that operates both on-site and online throughout Bangladesh. It purchases several health and
fitness products from importers and local suppliers. They sell products through the online shop. Also, they have both their own outlets and warehouses at different
areas in Dhaka. TechOrbital has
developed a dynamic and highly responsive e-commerce website for them. We
used PHP, Laravel, and MySQL as the backend technology and Bootstrap, and jQuery as the frontend technology. Our
team worked with passion and dedication to deliver a faster loading,
responsive, and highly performed website to LifeWell BD.
Website
Requirements:
As the website is the primary channel of product display and order placement for any
e-commerce company, LifeWell wanted to develop a highly interactive, faster-loading, and responsive website that will represent the brand image as well as
provide a comfortable experience to website visitors. Some major requirements
asked by them were the website should have online order and payment options,
product delivery and tracking system, offer and campaign management along with
daily and monthly reports of sales, inventory, and others. Integration with social media platforms was
required, such as Facebook and Instagram, for marketing and customer
engagement. Also, an organized backend/admin
panel system is needed for managing products, orders, customer information, and
generating reports.
Our
Approach & Solution:
After
several meetings with the LifeWell team we prepared the complete Technical
Requirement Document which would be followed to design and develop the website.
After getting the requirement confirmation, we started to design the whole website
including the home page and other internal pages. Then we started to develop
the admin panel and the website following project milestones.
We
used PHP Laravel, and MySQL as backend technologies and Bootstrap and jQuery as
frontend technologies. We followed a work process that is agile-scrum which
helps both parties to get real-time feedback and rapid product delivery. We are
a team of developers and designers who worked together to develop the website
for Lifewell within the estimated time and budget.
It’s
always been an achievement to deliver an error-free and optimized product which
able to satisfy clients’ requirements. LifeWell website development project was
such an experience for us. From the admin panel, admin users can update all
necessary content and settings. Their website is gradually getting a higher
