Academic Hubs is a digital content writing agency that provides
professional and academic content writing services by skilled writers. To
receive orders and manage the whole service process they needed an automated
system so that management can keep eye on business growth. The application
contains writing service management software along with a website built with
PHP Laravel Framework. The system helps to receive orders and payments from
customers and execute the work through writers. It also enables you to charge
your customers based on three different pricing policies.
Project Requirements:
They wanted to develop a project management software called "workshop". Through this project management software, they will be
able to take orders from individuals and agents, assign orders to freelancers,
track orders, receive payments, and manage revisions & agents’
commissions. The core functionalities
that are to be included in the system are the following: Role Management, Basic
Service Info, Order Placement, Approve and Assign, Writers Answer, Review and
Correction, Approval and Payment, Download and Rating, and order and agent reports.
Our Approach & Solution:
We discussed with AcademicHubs team several times to prepare a comprehensive Requirement Document which would be
followed to design and develop the final product. After getting the requirement
confirmation, we started to design the whole system including technical
diagrams, DB design, and system architecture. Then we started to develop
the PMS following project milestones. We used PHP Laravel and MySQL as backend
technologies and Bootstrap, vue.js, and jQuery as frontend technologies. We
followed a work process that is agile-scrum which helps both parties to get
real-time feedback and rapid product delivery. We are a team of developers and
designers who worked together to develop the PMS for AcademicHubs within the estimated time and budget.
It’s always been an achievement to deliver an error-free and fully functional product which able to satisfy clients’ requirements. The Workshop PMS development project was such an experience for us. From system settings, admin users can update all necessary content and settings.
